Online Instrument Course (includes 10 lessons)

This course includes 10 instructional videos, each approximately 30 minutes long, along with a variety of printable materials, helpful links, and additional resources. It is designed for students ages 8 and up, though younger learners can participate with parental guidance.

The goal of this course is to provide a comprehensive and accessible approach to learning piano by removing common barriers such as anxiety, location, and time constraints. Students can move through the lessons at their own pace, engaging with the material as their schedules allow.

The instructor, Kimberly Founds, brings over 38 years of experience as a professional harpist and holds a B.A. in Music Education. She has taught students from Pre-K through university level for more than 14 years, including teaching internationally. She also holds an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction and is skilled in adapting her teaching to suit a variety of learning styles. Kimberly maintains a current teaching license in Colorado and has developed a simplified rhythm study method as an alternative to the traditional fraction-based approach. In addition, she is the owner and director of The House of David Music Center in Woodland Park, Colorado, where she leads a team of five instructors serving over 110 students.
